3rd Grade: Symmetry Bugs

   My third graders have been learning about symmetry and how to create symmetrical designs in art. Each students drew a bug on a folded piece of paper, outlined it with Sharpie and then held it up to the light or against a window to trace the other side. They used watercolor pencils to add color.
